I ordered Southern Scholar because of your recommendation. I was disappointed in the quality. It seems like they spent more on the packaging than the sock. As someone who works in textiles I know not only is it important to list where something was made you legally have to. The Southern Scholar socks did not list where they were made.
Hi Dane, I’m so sorry to read this. It wasn’t like I was the only one who thought they were great, a large group of fashionista all collectively agreed that they make a great sock. We have washed and worn them and have found the to be quite impressive. I do see that your website is listed as sockclub.com and when I search online you have history with them. As in you own Sock Club, perhaps this could be a contributing factor. Thanks for reading and just so your know…we too are Sock Club fans, Southern Scholar just won the cake. Happy Holidays!
That is some serious saltiness from danecjensen. I personally haven’t tried Southern Scholar but I have subscribed to Sock Club before… Tasteless reaction here and reason enough for me to not return to sock club.com again.
I apologize for your dissatisfaction. We can’t seem to find a subscription or account in your name but if you’d provide us with your account # via email at info@southernscholar.com we’d be happy to send you a new pair or refund your money, as we do have a 100% satisfaction guarantee!
