Our take
Fun, loud socks are the whole idea, and the subscription brings two pairs a month, sometimes in subscriber-only designs. I opened my first Sock it to Me box years ago and the socks were great. Good fit as an easy gift for the person with a sense of humor about their feet. Heads up: the subscription is adult sizes only, so for kids you'd shop their store instead, and I'd skip it if you like plain basics.
