Fella the Hen Goes to Blo with Emma
Welcome to the life of Fella the Chicken! Fella, for those of you who do not know, is a hen who was named by our daughter Emma when she was 3 years old. There is quite a bit of gender confusion when speaking about Fella in our household alas on this particular day Fella got to spread her wings and fully embrace her femininity with a day at Blo The Woodlands.
Fella is our “dog”. She walks in and out of the house. She plays with the kids and has so much patients. She protects them. Once a snake came up behind Emma and I while playing outside and Fella ran up, grabbed the snake from behind us, ran a little ways away and proceeded to kill the snake. It really is impressive how wonderful chickens and hens in particular are.
Emma absolutely loved getting her hair done and Fella’s feathers done. As you can see they both just relaxed and laughed while Brandon was the world’s best sport entertaining this momma and her 2 babies. Thank you Brandon, we love you!!!!
A HUGE Shout Out to Blo Blow Dry Bar in The Woodlands TX for making this little dream of ours come true! Both girls enjoyed their day of beauty! Click here to see more about our Backyard Chickens.
