So as far as meal subscriptions go Hello Fresh is one of my favorites for 2 reasons: 1) the neat and organized packaging and 2) their cooking times and measurements are the most accurate. I have made dozens of these meals and still love them. My husband and I are not big eaters so the average Hello Fresh meal for 2 actually serves us 3-4 meals. The recipes are clean, clear and organized! I love all their flavors and haven't received anything weird or funky. Their website is easy to use and ingredients are fresh. The unboxing shown on the video above is my latest one and it actually had the most problems I have ever experienced. One of the boxes was not labeled at all and one was missing an ingredient. The other negative about Hello Fresh is their subscription/renewals. They do not tell you when they are prepping your box or when your subscription unpauses, which I don't like. If I pause my subscription for 3 months, I would like a courtesy e-mail letting me know that it is about to change status so that I can either prep to receive a box or delay the box due to bad timing. This last box I received I didn't expect, got the shipping notification on a Sunday afternoon, I immediate called their customer service who did answer the phone just to tell me that they could do nothing. After hearing I was upset they still charged me in full for my box but offered to give me 50% off a future box. With their communication lacking I was forced to cancel so that I didn't end up in this situation again. All in all however this is a great box and one of the better food subscription boxes.
