My Home Chef Experience
So it has been a few years since I have done a meal subscription so this was exciting for me. I have been in such a rut with cooking and feeling like I make the same boring things over and over again. So I hopped on http://thepinkenvelope.com/HomeChef and ordered 3 meals for 2 people each. I have cooked the 1st 2 meals and they are delicious!!! Having the 3rd meal tonight.
Based on my experience cooking these 1st 2 meals I am very pleased. The recipes were easy and the food was yummy. One of the meals, the Chicken Marsala, was super easy and super yummy and IMO worth $10 each. I learned to much cooking those dinners and make cauliflower into risotto for the 1st time in my life. The 2nd meal, the Chicken Tinga, has a couple mix ups on the pan size that I quickly resolved but the real kicker was the long black hair I found in my snap beans. Luckily, they were raw and still had to be washed and cooked so no harm done.
Make sure you watch the video above to get tips, tricks and hear the ins and outs. I do recommend this meal subscription box. I couldn't maintain it long because it's too expensive for our family but it has been amazing to boost my confidence and expand my cooking horizons.
