What is Stitch Fix
So, 1st, have you heard of Stitch Fix before? If not, here is the quick & dirty: they are a mens & womens clothing subscription company. You hop on their site, complete a quick but thorough questionnaire (PLEASE BE HONEST ON THIS) and set your budget. You pay $20 for your 1st box to be curated and shipped to you. That $20 goes towards your purchase. Keep all 5 items you get an additional 25% off. They are trendy fashion pieces not classic (for the most part). They do an amazing job!
A TIP: make a Pinterest board and include outfits you like and don't like including notes for your stylist! I also have created a What's In My Closet Pinterest board.
My Stitch Fix Review
Well this might be the most ridiculous fix I have ever received. I mean this thing is terrible. I started to just send it all back without posting then realized that I just had to share. LOL. No video because I just couldn't. So here are some photos. Enjoy and don't laugh too hard!
Brixon Ivy Mange Mixed Media Crochet Back Knit Top in Purple – $58.00 – Kept
This top is quite cute, the back is see through which is cute and the front and sleeves are super soft! Very cute and unique top! Now for the Shocking News – This is the ONLY thing I kept!!! Read on…
RD Style Locklyn Cowl Neck Pullover in Off White – $68.00 – Returned
I do not like cowl necks, I have this written in my notes and on the Pinterest page so I was surprised to receive this one. However I have to note, this was a guest stylist, my girl Sarah was on vacation and another girl stepped in. All in all as you can see, I didn't like the top. I don't think it even gets hot enough in Houston to wear this.
Stitch Fix Unboxing
Lysse Joylyn Ponte Legging in Brown – $78.00 – Returned
So I asked for leggings in my notes and leggings I got except these fit and reminded me of Spanx not leggings. They were thick and tight and I wasn't a fan. Plus, they were too expensive for my liking. Back they went.
Andrew Marc Savana Quilted Puffer Coat in Green – $118.00 – Returned
In my notes I wrote no more coats I own too many so this one went back. It was however quite cute and comfy! For someone who lives in a place that doesn't get cold I sure own alot of coats LOL.
Daniel Rainn Tyre Crochet Detail Knit Top in Burnt Orange – $58.00 – Returned
I hate this top on me! LOL, like really really. I tried to like it, but no, it looks and feels like pajamas. Now if this was a PJ top I would be down maybe. Anyhow, back it went.
So thats that. Not that exciting of a Stitch Fix Unboxing. A bad fix 🙁 I kept 1 out of 5 for a grand total of $58.00 – $20 Styling Fee = $38.00

I love the honesty in your reviews. I also think the green coat is quite cute! However, I too, own WAY too many coats for a place that doesn’t get cold often…Southern California! If someone looked at my coat collection, they’d think I lived in Scandinavia. ;p
Haha same here! I have wayyyy too many for the fact that this winter we reached below 30 degree one time! I think we are desperate to feel included, you know, like wanna be northerners
